Polestar officially launches large electric SUV ‘Polestar 3’ in Korea

Premium electric vehicle brand Polestar announced on the 2nd that it has launched the large electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) 'Polestar 3' in Korea.

Polestar 3 is released in three trims: rear motor, dual motor, and performance.

Based on the performance trim, it has a maximum output of 680 horsepower (500 kW), and the maximum driving range on a single charge is 486 km for dual motors and 438 km for performance.

The rear motor is equipped with a nickel, cobalt, manganese (NCM) battery with a capacity of 92 kWh (kilowatt hours), and the dual motor and performance are equipped with a 106 kWh capacity. It supports charging speeds of up to 350kW, allowing charging from 10% to 80% in about 22 minutes.

The dual motor and performance trims are equipped with a dual chamber air suspension that reacts 500 times per second depending on road conditions.

The starting price is 77.9 million won for the rear motor, 85.9 million won for the dual motor, and 99.9 million won for the performance.
