Kia Morning car accident carrying 5 people crashed into a ditch in Hai Phong, 2 people died

The Kia Morning carrying 5 people crashed into a ditch in Cau Thuong village, An Quang commune, killing the driver and his wife and injuring 3 people sitting in the back, on September 6.

At around 12:50, local people discovered the incident and quickly shouted to reach the scene, help take the victims out and coordinate with the authorities to organize emergency services.

Through inspection, driver Dao Manh Lap, 68 years old, and his wife sitting in the passenger seat, Ms. Ngo Thi Trong, 67 years old, residing in Co Am commune, died. Three men sitting in the backseat were lucky to survive.

The victims went to the Five Council Festival when they encountered an accident. At the time of the accident, Hai Phong was not raining and visibility was good. The ditches running along inter-village roads in An Quang commune have great depth and do not have a barrier system.

Authorities determined that the driver was not paying attention and caused the accident.
