Presidential Decisions regarding increasing the basic support and planned production support amounts in livestock and crop production were published in the Official Gazette.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, it was reported that support has increased in many areas, from crop production to animal husbandry, from beekeeping to aquaculture.
SUPPORT COEFFICIENT IN CROP PRODUCTION INCREASED
Within the scope of the said decision, the statement stated that the support coefficient value per decare, which was 310 lira for this year's production practices, was increased to 367 lira, and it was emphasized that the support coefficient value per decare, which was 244 lira in the 2025 production year, increased by 50.4 percent.
In the statement, it was stated that the support coefficient value for the 2027 production year supports was increased to 442 lira and the following was noted:
"The highest increase on a product basis was in the support for lentils and chickpeas. The planned production support for lentil and chickpea products within the scope of planning was increased by 141 percent to 884 lira per decare. While the producer producing lentils and chickpeas will receive support of 734 lira per decare for the 2026 production year as basic and planned production support, they will receive support of 1326 lira per decare for the 2027 production year. UP TO 43 PERCENT INCREASE IN LIVESTOCK SUPPORT

"In cattle breeding, the basic support for calf per animal was increased from 1400 lira to 2 thousand lira, and the malak support was increased from 2 thousand 800 lira to 4 thousand lira. The increase rate in these supports was 43 percent. In small livestock farming, the basic support for lamb and kid per animal was increased by 43 percent, from 300 lira to 430 lira. Shepherd support was also increased by 43 percent. "It was increased from 81 thousand liras to 116 thousand 100 liras."
Within the scope of the decision, it was stated that the basic support given to producers who are members of producer and breeder organizations per beehive was increased from 140 lira to 250 lira, and the basic support amount for producers who are not members of the organization was increased from 100 lira to 200 lira per hive.
In the statement, it was reported that the basic support for silkworm was increased by 36 percent, from 1100 lira to 1500 lira per kilogram, and the basic support for mohair production was increased by 38 percent, from 160 lira to 220 lira per kilogram.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR PRODUCERS

In the statement, it was stated that an additional 75 lira support per beehive would be given to the member producers of the breeder organizations that preserve the bee genetic resources protected in fully isolated regions in the buffer protection zone, and an additional 60 lira support would be given to non-members.
"Within the scope of raw milk support, additional support will be provided to the basic support to producers who sell the milk they produce to processing facilities through raw milk collection or storage managers with professional qualification certificates. There have been increases ranging from 30 percent to 100 percent in the basic support rates given to aquaculture enterprises depending on the species they produce and their production methods. The unit support amounts given for animal genetic resources have also been increased by 60 percent compared to the previous year."
