The second stage of the championship was held at Batman Athletics Track within the scope of TEKNOFEST

24 licensed athletes participated in the second stage of the championship held at Batman Athletics Track within the scope of TEKNOFEST, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, T3 Foundation and Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc.

Citizens also showed great interest in the races where fierce competition took place.

The athletes who placed in the top 16 in the Batman stage of the championship, the first stage of which was held in Şırnak, will participate in the final stage to be held in Şanlıurfa on September 30.

Anadolu Agency Sports Club is also in the competition

Emrullah Yılmaz from Anadolu Agency Sports Club also took part in the championship.

Yılmaz said that he qualified to participate in the championship by being among the top 32 athletes in the preliminary selection among 850 pilots.

Stating that he entered the top 24 in the qualifiers in the Şırnak leg of the championship, Yılmaz said:

"The athletes participating in the competition put in a lot of effort. The new competitors are very, very fast. The stage in Şırnak was very difficult, but I passed the Şırnak leg successfully. I qualified for the second stage by making it to the top 24. As a result of the eliminations held here, the top 16 pilots will be eligible to compete in Şanlıurfa. I also aim to enter the final competitions in Şanlıurfa by entering the top 16."
