Trump Pushes 'Trump Dividend' Proposal at Republican Midterm Election Convention

US President Donald Trump said he will pay a "Trump dividend" of $5,000 to every American adult if Republicans maintain control over Congress in the midterm elections in November. This statement by Trump was a remarkable attempt to persuade voters to support his party's candidates.

Trump expressed this suggestion at the midterm election congress held by the Republican Party for the first time, but it is not yet clear how the payments will be made or whether they will be legal. HE DEFENDED HIS DECISION TO ATTACK IRAN

Trump defended his decision to attack Tehran, saying he took action to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. He also promised that oil prices would drop "as soon as the war with Iran is won" and argued that the war would end soon.

But more than six months after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran, there is little sign of an end to the conflict.

On the other hand, the Congress is of great importance for both parties. With less than two months until the election, Republicans face the possibility of losing control of at least one house of Congress.
