Turkish Cinema Festival Opens Its Doors for the Second Time

Türkiye Cinema Festival, organized by the Cinema Hall Investors Association (SİSAY) with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, opens its doors for the second time this year. The festival, which will be held simultaneously in 75 provinces on September 26-27, aims to bring the big screen experience to large audiences.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced in his statement on his social media account that the festival's tickets went on sale as of September 21. Ersoy said, "We will feel the unifying power of cinema all over Turkey again," and invited all citizens to the halls.

17 LOCAL AND FOREIGN PRODUCTS WILL BE ON THE SCREEN

The festival selection, which will last for two days in approximately 1,500 theaters, includes 17 local and foreign films appealing to all age groups. In the program, world-famous high-budget productions such as "Avengers: Endgame", "Spider-Man: A Brand New Day", "Odyssey" and "Toy Story 5" as well as animation and family films will meet the audience.

THE PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT THE CINEMAS AND THEIR CULTURE

The festival aims to emphasize that cinema is not just an individual viewing process, but a cultural and artistic activity experienced collectively. At the same time, it is aimed to facilitate access to cinema for different income groups and to contribute to the sustainability of the halls.

Türkiye Cinema Festival, which was held for the first time in 2025 and hosted more than 780 thousand spectators, further expanded its coverage area this year, providing moviegoers with affordable viewing opportunities.
