Vance's statement about economic pressure on Iran and its nuclear facility

Vance made evaluations about the Iranian agenda in a podcast program in which he was a guest.

Arguing that the Strait of Hormuz is Iran's "trump card", but that they ensure the passage of high amounts of oil through it "despite attacks on commercial ships", Vance claimed that they have greatly reduced fuel prices in the USA.

Vance stated that if they manage to ease energy prices in the US and "punish Iran for its attacks on commercial ships", this will come back to Iran as "economic pressure".

Thus, Vance claimed that the Iranian side's calculations will change about "what kind of agreement they want to make" with the USA and said, "We have moved to a new phase where the most effective tool we have is the economic pressure we can apply to them." he said.

Vance described economic pressure against Iran as "the best way to achieve their ultimate goals" and pointed out that they would continue this.

Also, recalling US President Donald Trump's statements that Iran should not have nuclear weapons, Vance said, "What we are trying to do is to create a new reality on the ground and say with confidence that not only have their (nuclear) facilities been destroyed, but they will never try to rebuild them." he said.

In his statement on his social media account, Trump announced that he would launch a new pressure campaign against Iran, stating that heavy economic sanctions would be imposed on countries and organizations that maintain economic relations with Iran.
