VIDEO: Suspect flees without paying for hotel after committing fake motorcycle scam in Alenquer

According to the report of a young man who worked in a bar in the city, a customer who frequented the establishment regularly offered him a motorcycle for the value of R$6,500.00. As he did not have the necessary amount for the acquisition, the employee forwarded the proposal to his uncle, who showed interest in the business.

After agreeing on the details, the seller demanded payment of a down payment in the amount of R$2,000.00. After receiving the amount, the suspect disappeared without handing over the vehicle and without giving any kind of explanation about the values ​​or the whereabouts of the motorcycle.

The suspect's escape occurred during the early hours of the morning. He was staying at a hotel in the city and left the establishment without paying the bill, generating a loss of R$800.00 in daily expenses and services.

The hotel owner said she was also the target of the suspect's attacks. According to her, the man tried to apply the same scheme and made her an offer to sell another motorcycle, valued at R$4,000, a deal that ended up not materializing.

The cases were exposed by residents to alert the community about the suspect's actions in the city. Police authorities advise that victims of fraud file a police report at the local police station so that the crimes can be formally investigated.
