The Supreme People's Procuracy issued new regulations on accepting civil servants without examination

According to new regulations, good lawyers, excellent businessmen, scientists... will be considered for employment as civil servants at the People's Procuracy without taking an exam, but must meet a number of conditions.

This takes effect from August 26, according to Decision No. 16 of the Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy on Regulations on recruitment of civil servants of the People's Procuracy.

Compared to the old regulations issued from 2021, this regulation creates conditions to attract high-quality human resources to work in the prosecution industry, including experts, scientists, jurists, good lawyers, and excellent businessmen working in agencies, organizations, and units outside the public sector.

Admission without examination also applies to public employees at public service units; salary earners in the people's armed forces; Managers at department level or higher at state-owned enterprises...

The recruitment condition for a group of experts, good lawyers, and excellent businessmen is to have results, products, works, initiatives or scientific solutions that have been applied in practice to bring about clear results.

These candidates must be reputable people recognized by the scientific community or specialized management agencies, ensuring they can immediately undertake the job in the receiving position.

For other groups of subjects such as officials or people in the armed forces, the mandatory condition is 5 years or more of continuous work in a job suitable to the job position expected to be accepted.

Candidates must meet general political, professional and health standards, and not be subject to prohibited or restricted cases such as losing civil act capacity, being prosecuted for criminal liability or being subject to disciplinary action.

Appearance and physical standards

In addition to the special admission mechanism, general standards on health, appearance and age are still applied uniformly throughout the industry.

For professional prosecutor positions, male candidates must have a height of 1.6 m and weigh 50 kg or more; Female candidates must be 1.55 m tall and weigh 45 kg or more; At the same time, there are no deformities or deformities, no lisping or stuttering.

The normal application age limit is no more than 37 years old for men and no more than 35 years old for women. For the special admission cases mentioned above, the age of men must not exceed 50, women must not exceed 48 and must ensure that by the time they reach retirement age, they must have the full number of years of compulsory social insurance payment.

In addition to this content, the new regulations also sharply cut down on job acceptance time to optimize human resource allocation. Accordingly, the time limit for accepting a job is reduced by half, to a maximum of 15 days from the date of the recruitment decision (the old regulation was 30 days).

The new regulations also add mandatory standards of "no lisping or stuttering" for candidates registering for professional prosecutor positions (the old regulations did not stipulate this content).
