Houthi infiltration attempt in Yemen repelled

In the statement made by the Yemen Armed Forces Media Center, it was stated that the Houthis attempted to infiltrate simultaneously to reach the positions near the mountain road connecting Aden, the center of the Yemeni government, with Lahij and Taiz, in the direction of the al-Makatira valley on the Haifan front.

It was noted that government forces repelled Houthi attacks that wanted to take control of the road in question in order to threaten public transportation.

It was stated that various units from the government forces clashed with the Houthis, the infiltration attempt was prevented and the Houthis were forced to retreat.

It was stated that the Houthis, who could not achieve their goals through direct clashes, tried to look for gaps in the field and threaten transportation lines and important roads.

The statement stated that government forces will continue to resist any attack and infiltration attempt, and emphasized that the Houthis will not be allowed to make any progress or threaten the security of citizens or important roads.

It was stated that the Houthis are carrying out these conflicts "in order to serve the agenda of the Iranian administration and the Revolutionary Guard, at the expense of the blood, security and stability of Yemenis."

Conflicts in Yemen

The conflicts that have escalated again in Yemen since July have noticeably changed the control map on the field.

After gaining control over the entire Hudaydah province, the Houthis advanced towards the west of Taiz and captured cities on the Red Sea coast such as Muha and the lines providing access to Babulmandeb.

The Houthis' capture of the city of Muha in Taiz on the Red Sea coast, as well as Hanish Archipelago, Meyyun Island and Zubab around the Babulmandeb Strait, caused a significant change in the conflict area.
