NEW Party Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz claimed that there was a connection between the detained Emre Tezmen, Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu and Türkiye's Helsinki Ambassador Ayşe Hilal Sayan Koytak.

Yavuzyılmaz said, "We have uncovered a critical connection between Emre Tezmen and the Sayan family. After Emre Tezmen was appointed as the President of the Turkey-Finland Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK); We found that Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya's older sister, Ayşe Hilal Sayan Koytak, was appointed as the Ambassador of Finland on September 5, 2026. Well, Emre Tezmen, the cosmic chamber of the state in the financial markets; With whom was he on the board of directors of the Central Registry Agency? With Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu, who is the executive of the DEIK Finland process! So they were all connected, they were all a team, and they all knew everything! The Ministry of Commerce stated that the allegations were "untrue, unfounded and slanderous". The Ministry stated that Tuzcu was serving on the MKK Board of Directors on behalf of the Ministry and that he had no personal acquaintance with the person mentioned in the post.

"The allegations made by a member of parliament about our Deputy Minister, Mr. Mustafa Tuzcu, on social media are completely unreal, the product of a scenario and fiction, unfounded and slanderous.

Mr. Tuzcu carries out his duty on the Central Registry Agency (MKK) Board of Directors, representing our Ministry, within the framework of the relevant legislation. He does not have any personal acquaintance with the person mentioned in the post. Claiming that there is another relationship or connection between individuals based on having served on the same board for a term is a slander and accusation that has no basis.

On the other hand, DEIK Business Council presidents are elected. Our Ministry or our Deputy Minister does not have the authority to elect or appoint any person as the Chairman of the Business Council.

Therefore, attempts to establish a connection between our Deputy Minister and the mentioned people by distorting a process carried out by public duty and elections are nothing but baseless slander.

The title of being a member of parliament does not give the right to tarnish our Deputy Minister, who selflessly performs his public duty with merit and self-sacrificing at home and abroad and represents our country with a sense of success and responsibility, with lies and slander. Spreading this series of lies and fictions served with political and also personal calculations is a manifestation of an immoral understanding.
