Ulsan Dong-gu, local and foreign resident neighborhood meeting held at Youth Stage On

Ulsan Dong-gu held the first event 'Link: We Met in Dong-gu', a local and foreign residents' neighborhood association, at 'Youth Stage On', a youth culture and arts support space located in Ilsan-dong, on the morning of the 6th.

This event was designed to help local residents and foreign residents build bonds through cultural exchange and to help foreigners settle down in the local community.

15 local residents and 20 foreign residents from 5 countries, including Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia, participated in the event.

For about two hours starting at 10 a.m. on this day, participants enjoyed and interacted with traditional Korean games, starting with 'Know Your Name Yut Game', making Ttakji and Jegi using recycled materials, and playing Ttakji games for each group.

This program, one of the social integration promotion projects promoted by Dong-gu, will be held a total of three times in September.

Dong-gu Mayor Cheon Ki-ok said, “I hope that this neighborhood meeting will be a meaningful time for foreign residents and local residents to get to know and understand each other,” and added, “We will strive to help foreign residents form bonds and settle down stably as neighbors in the local community.”
