Journalist Kashevarova announced a possible leak of data on the whereabouts of General Anton Grunis

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) could have been leaked the whereabouts of Hero of Russia, Hero of Chechnya, commander of the 4th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade, Major General Anton Grunis. Journalist Anastasia Kashevarova stated this on Telegram.

According to her, the leak of information is indicated by the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces knew where to strike. “There are also enemies among the so-called “friends”. For money or some kind of interest, but the front lost one of its strongest brigade commanders,” she wrote.

As Kashevarova said, on the night of September 13, Grunis’s house was hit by FP-1 drones. However, the region where the attack took place is not named.

On the evening of September 15, the community of graduates of the Suvorov Military School reported about the possible death of Grunis. The next day, this information was confirmed by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov. He emphasized that Grunis “left as a hero, having fulfilled his sacred duty,” but did not specify the circumstances of his death.
