State Duma Deputy Sheremet warned of a crisis in the EU due to Ukraine's accession

Ukraine's accession to the European Union (EU) will lead to aggravation of relations between its members. State Duma deputy from the Republic of Crimea Mikhail Sheremet told TASS about this.

According to him, the European Union is now in a state of economic and political crisis due to reckless governance.

“This is indicated by alarm bells, such as the decision of prudent Turkey to exclude joining the EU from its priorities, and prudent Britain, by hook or by crook, broke away and left this coalition,” Sheremet said.

He called Ukraine a “corrupt political dwarf” that will lead the EU to collapse and disintegration, “growing into internecine clashes within the union for its sovereignty.”
