Anton Voloshko was re-elected chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory

Deputy Anton Voloshko, who heads the United Russia faction in the Legislative Assembly of Primorye, was re-elected chairman of the regional parliament.

The first meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory of the eighth convocation is taking place on Wednesday. The first issue was the election of the chairman of the regional parliament. The United Russia faction nominated for consideration the candidacy of deputy from district No. 21 Anton Voloshko, who headed the previous convocation of the Legislative Assembly.

“I am deeply convinced that the tasks that the president set at the last Eastern Economic Forum can be solved by you and me, and, above all, to bring the legislation of the region into compliance - this is a big, difficult and very responsible job. And if your choice falls on me, then I assure you that I will honestly serve the interests of the Primorsky Territory,” Voloshko told deputies.

During the secret ballot, all 39 parliamentarians present supported Voloshko’s candidacy.

According to information from the Legislative Assembly of Primorye, in the elections on September 20, Voloshko was re-elected as a deputy in single-mandate electoral district No. 21 (Kirovsky, Chuguevsky and part of the Lesozavodsky municipal district). 16.8 thousand voters voted for his candidacy - 66.3% of those who took part in the vote.
