Taipei mayor's poll lags behind by 1.2 percentage points Yang Zhidou: Chiang Wanan is not a sure winner

According to the Taipei mayoral election poll released by the People's Association and polling expert Dai Li'an, DPP candidate Shen Boyang is only 1.2 percentage points behind the current Taipei Mayor Chiang Wanan. Shen Boyang said today that Jiang Wanan's election situation is "very stable" and that he is the challenger who wants to convince the public more. Jiang Wanan said in an interview that the election was indeed very competitive and he was walking on thin ice with trepidation. In this regard, Kuomintang lawmaker Yang Zhidou analyzed that Chiang Wanan is not sure to win, but Dai Li'an's polls have turned Taipei into a "green is greater than blue" situation, which is indeed problematic, but it still has reference value.

Yang Zhidou believes that this poll has relatively low reference value for the blue camp, because after careful study, many problems are found, such as how Taipei became more green than blue. However, the data is still available and there is still room for reference.

Yang Zhidou said that Jiang Wanan’s victory was not guaranteed. In addition to the 1.2 percentage point win in the People’s Association’s poll, Jiang Wanan also won by more than 10 percentage points in other polls. He called on those who support the blue camp to remember to come out and vote.
