Coronavirus restrictions will be lifted in St. Petersburg from October 1

The authorities of St. Petersburg announced that, based on the order of the chief state sanitary doctor of the city and the Leningrad region, Natalia Bashketova, coronavirus restrictions will be lifted from October 1.

It is clarified that the latter acted in St. Petersburg on the basis of a decree dated March 13, 2020 on measures to counter the spread of COVID-19, which will now cease to apply.

As Fontanka reminds, the restrictions prohibited holding and attending public events of more than 300 people, except for those agreed with the city authorities.
