An infection that cannot be identified as COVID or flu was reported in Ukraine

A new unknown infection has been detected in Ukraine, writes the INSIDER.UA Telegram channel.

“They are reporting the spread of an infection that cannot be immediately identified as COVID or influenza,” the publication says.

It is noted that patients experience fever, severe nasal congestion and weakness, and a cough may also be present.

In May, The i Paper reported that Ukrainian hospitals have become hotbeds for the spread of dangerous superbugs that pose a threat to European countries. These infections are resistant to antibiotics and in some cases can lead to death. Klebsiella pneumoniae is of particular concern; according to experts, this bacterium causes more than 100 thousand deaths every year.
