〔記者吳俊鋒／台南報導〕受惠於全球AI熱潮蓬勃發展，以及積體電路產業的領航帶動，南科6大產業今年上半年營業額高達1兆7739.08億元，較去年同期增加近3成，展現穩健擴張動能，更鞏固世界高科技供應鏈核心地位；園區就業人口也突破10萬，創歷史新高。

根據統計，南科今年上半年營業額較去年同期增加28.57%，更大幅進步；其中積體電路產業因高效能運算（HPC）與人工智慧（AI）應用的強勁需求，成長30.22%，營業額高達1兆5609.87億元。

受惠全球AI應用需求強勁，電腦及其周邊產業，成長40.6%；精密機械產業，成長44.87%；通訊產業，成長19.86%。生物技術產業隨著醫療器材產業逐步開拓國際市場，營業額達81.49億元，成長15.91%。

另外，今年上半年南科進出口表現同樣強勁，出口額受惠於AI應用相關產品的出口暢旺，達4985.41億元。

進口額因園區大廠擴廠帶動設備、原物料，以及先進製程需求激增，達4656.03億元。

南科園區上半年就業員工達10萬822人，新引進14家廠商，投資額549.22億元。

南科於去年12月成立「沙崙生態科學園區生態保育協作平台」，聽取各方保育團體、專家學者意見，迄今已召開15次會議，並擬定生態保育策略，包含生態給付、棲地營造及異地補償等，正面積極回應民眾對於園區開發，以及生態保育議題的期許。
