Leihu won the NT$1.048 billion bid for the Bank of Taiwan's "drone fleet", taking all six major items

[Reporter Wang Yihong/Reported from Taipei] Unmanned system manufacturer Thunder Tiger Technology (8033) announced today that it has won the bid for the "UAV Unit" joint supply contract (Case No. LP5-114063) handled by the Procurement Department of the Bank of Taiwan on behalf of the Ministry of the Interior. Lei Hu said that the most favorable bid was selected for this case. Lei Hu won the bid for all six categories including training, aerial photography, preliminary inspection, advanced inspection, remote surveillance and transportation. He was the only one among 15 bidders and 10 winning bidders to be selected for all six categories.

The budget amount and total winning bid amount of this case are both 1.048 billion yuan. The bid was awarded on October 16 and announced on November 4.

Lei Hu said that the performance locations of this contract cover the entire northern, central, southern and eastern regions, and the enforcement agency for the contract is the Ministry of the Interior. Applicable agencies across the country can order directly according to task needs. The tasks corresponding to the six items won by Thunder Tiger include training, aerial photography, primary and advanced inspection, long-range surveillance, transportation, etc. It will subsequently provide equipment supply, education and training, and warranty and maintenance services to various agencies in accordance with the contract. Based on this successful bid for all items, it will continue to strive for unmanned system bids related to central and local governments, national defense, and critical infrastructure.

Leihu's product line covers air and surface unmanned vehicles, and core systems such as flight control and ground guidance and control stations are independently developed. Leihu pointed out that it has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the National Sun Yat-sen Institute of Science and Technology and completed the CS-80 micro turbojet engine technology licensing contract for assembly and production in Taiwan. In terms of production capacity, the factory building in Dapu Mei Industrial Park in Chiayi County (floor area of ​​about 7,000 square meters) and its own aluminum shipyard are both under construction.
