Chipotle Korea official app launched, pickup time can be selected in 10-minute increments

Select pickup time in 10-minute increments during store business hours

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Joo-hong Han = S&C Restaurant Holdings (S&C), the Korean operator of the American Mexican food chain Chipotle, announced on the 30th that it has launched the official application (app) 'Chipotle Korea'.

The Chipotle app provides a service that allows you to order food before visiting the store and pick it up at a designated time. Customers can select a pickup time in 10-minute increments within store business hours.

In the app, you can configure the menu according to your taste, just like in the store. After choosing a menu from burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, salads, and quesadillas, you choose main ingredients such as rice, beans, and meat, and toppings such as salsa, cheese, and guacamole.

An S&C official said, "We hope that through the launch of the official app, customers will be able to enjoy Chipotle's customized experience and local taste more quickly and conveniently."

Chipotle started business in the United States in 1993, and as of the end of June, it operates more than 4,200 stores in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the Middle East.

On the 2nd, it opened its first store in Asia in Gangnam, Seoul. The raw material standards and cooking and ordering methods of local stores in the U.S. were applied in Korea as well.

S&C operates all domestic stores directly and plans to open additional second and third stores within the year. The first store in Singapore is also scheduled to open in the first half of next year.
