The second phase of the construction of the Taoyuan Municipal Wenqing Elementary School will start in July 2024. The main structure has been completed and internal and external renovations are underway. It is expected to be completed in October. Wenqing Elementary School is located at Taoyuan Airport MRT A7 Sports University Station Within the development scope of the district, the second phase of the project continues the construction of the existing kindergarten and the first phase of elementary school buildings, further expanding the overall spatial functions of the campus, and planning to build 4 school buildings including elementary school, junior high school, library and junior college. After opening, it will be able to construct a complete elementary and middle school education field.

Among them, the elementary school building has 4 floors above ground, with 15 general classrooms and 1 health center planned; the junior high school building has 4 floors above ground, with 25 general classrooms and 1 academic office planned; the junior college building has 4 floors above ground, with 15 junior college classrooms, 2 information classrooms, 7 administrative spaces such as teacher rooms and conference rooms, and a kitchen. The library building has three floors above ground and is planned to include a library and an audio-visual classroom. This project also provides parking spaces for 10 cars and 17 motorcycles, with a project cost of approximately 625.63 million yuan.

The architectural design of the second phase of the project is based on the image of the school emblem of Wenqing Junior High School. The image of "eagle spreading wings" is integrated into the eaves shape, and is matched with lively and diverse building facades to create a creative and dynamic campus atmosphere. The overall space integrates teaching functions such as elementary schools, junior high schools, libraries, and junior colleges. It adopts age-specific zoning, dynamic and static separation, and pedestrian and vehicle separation planning, and combines natural greenery and landscape design to improve campus safety and environmental comfort.

From the overall planning, architectural design to environmental creation, the second phase of the project focuses on student learning needs and campus safety. Through perfect spatial configuration and diverse teaching environments, it responds to the educational needs brought about by the population growth of the A7 station area. It also won the "2026 National Excellence in Construction Award" Best Planning and Design Category - Gold Award.
