Teachers' Day is approaching, and Nanhe Elementary School in Gongguan Township, Miaoli County held an event yesterday called "Food Farmers Make Good Dumplings, Nanhe Appreciates Teachers" to combine food farm education with outdoor experiences. All the students in the school personally picked the green onions, leeks and corn grown in the campus farm. With the help of the parent-teacher association, they made hot dumplings and wontons and served them to the teachers at the teacher appreciation banquet, expressing their most sincere gratitude with full hand-made warmth.

Principal Zhao Wende of Nanhe Elementary School pointed out that the school has been promoting the "SUPER" vision for a long time, and this event is a model for implementing "good experiences" and "good relationships." The children demonstrated the core spirit of "dialogue, games, work, and sharing" in Jena education, and worked together to prepare and knead the dumplings. They kneaded gratitude into each full filling, becoming the most eye-catching "good dumpling color" of the day.

In addition to the dumplings made with love by the students, Zhao Wende also prepared "flower rolls" and "bean paste buns" for all the school staff. Zhao Wende said that by presenting the "flower rolls", he hopes that the teachers can be as graceful and calm as flowers in their busy teaching. The "bean paste buns" symbolize sweetness and perfection, and hope that colleagues can taste happiness every day when they serve at Nanhe Elementary School.

Parent President Cai Peiwen and Vice President Gao Shujuan also led parents to enthusiastically participate in the preparation of ingredients. The school emphasized that through the participation of teachers and students in the cooking process, it not only implements the spirit of "learning by doing" in food and agriculture education, but also shortens the distance between teachers and students, and injects rich educational innovation practices into the traditional virtue of respecting teachers and ethics.
