The struggle declaration rally in the second half of this year was held in Seoul and other places to respond to changes in the working environment due to the AI ​​transition and to demand that the government strengthen the public nature of society and guarantee basic labor rights without discrimination.

On this day, Kim Eun-hyung, head of the Gyeongnam branch of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, said, "The Lee Jae-myung government is committing atrocities by trampling on the three labor rights guaranteed by the Constitution and neutralizing the right to collective bargaining and collective action. We will continue the struggle to realize basic labor rights and social reform against the neutralization of the three labor rights, infringement on the right to bargain with primary contractors, and abolition of non-regular workers."

He went on to say, “Young people should not be sent to wars of aggression, such as the US invasion of Iran,” and added, “Workers will take the lead in the struggle to create a world of independence, equality, peace, prosperity, and unity.”

In addition, attendees argued for a significant increase in the government budget to strengthen the public nature of society, revision of the labor definition provisions of the Labor Standards Act, and guarantee of basic political and labor rights without discrimination.
