[Reporter Cai Zongxian/Pingtung Report] In order to comprehensively verify the long-range precision strike capabilities of the three armed forces and test the effectiveness of various newly received missiles, rockets and attack drones, the National Army's "Tri-Service Joint Precision Ammunition Shooting Exercise" officially kicked off early this morning (16th) at Jiupeng Base in Pingtung. At dawn, a shocking rumbling sound was heard from the east coast of the Hengchun Peninsula. Four main combat equipment, including Patriot missiles, took the lead, ignited and took off across the sky, dragging dazzling white smoke columns straight towards the target area. The scene was extremely shocking.

It is understood that the air defense and air-to-air main battle equipment launched early this morning accurately verified the effectiveness of position deployment and connection. As the targets and missiles intertwined into spectacular trajectories, it not only demonstrated the real-time response capabilities of the national army's air defense network, but also served as the beginning of a multi-day drill.

Follow-up air defense and anti-ship missiles including Tiangong, Xiongfeng, Haimas multiple launch rockets and Land Shejian II will continue to appear. Coast patrol ships will also launch Xiongfeng series anti-ship missiles in this exercise. The Ministry of National Defense has invited the commander-in-chief of the three armed forces, President Lai Qingde, to personally inspect and conduct a comprehensive inspection of the joint combat effectiveness of the national army and the coast patrol in wartime.
