The dispatch of conscripts will begin on October 10, with the exception of certain regions of the Far North and equivalent areas, where the dispatch will take place from November 1 to December 31, as well as for citizens living in rural areas and employed in sowing and harvesting work, the dispatch will begin on October 15.

About 120 thousand conscripts will be sent to places of military service during the autumn deployment period in 2026, said the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel General Yevgeny Burdinsky.

“In October-December, about 120 thousand conscripts must be sent for military service,” Burdinsky said in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.

He clarified that conscripts from assembly points of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will begin to leave for their place of military service as early as October 10. There are exceptions, for example, in certain regions of the Far North and equivalent areas, dispatch will take place from November 1 to December 31.
