In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a two-story warehouse, tentatively covering an area of ​​1,200 square meters, is on fire.

The high fire load complicates extinguishing; 26 firefighters and six units of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the scene.

“In the Sakhalin region, a fire in a furniture store is being extinguished. On Solnechny Lane in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a fire occurs in a two-story warehouse building. According to preliminary data, the fire area is 1,200 square meters,” the report says.

It is clarified that the high fire load complicates extinguishing: there is furniture, paint and varnish products, and building materials inside the building. In addition, there is a threat of spreading to the administrative building. It is emphasized that, initially, no one was hurt.
