The hotline of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces will begin operating on October 13 for clarifications on conscription

From October 13, clarifications on questions of conscription for military service can be obtained by calling the hotline of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces.

Year-round conscription will take place for the first time in 2026; conscripts are sent to their duty stations twice a year.

Conscripts will not be involved in participation in a special military operation.

Conscripts and their parents can receive clarification on issues of conscription for military service by calling the hotline of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces starting from October 13, said the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate (GOMU) of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel General Yevgeny Burdinsky.

Year-round conscription will take place for the first time in 2026; conscripts are sent to their duty stations twice a year - from April 1 to July 15 and from October 1 to December 31.

“The official website of the Russian Ministry of Defense has a question and answer section, including detailed information about selection for scientific, sports, and other units. If you need to resolve the issue, you should use the application form in the citizen’s personal account here on the website,” Burdinsky said in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.

According to him, starting from October 13, by phone: 8 (495) 498-96-96, 498-96-97, 498-96-98, specialists from the General Staff GUMU will be able to provide clarification on issues related to the conscription of citizens for military service. Opening hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 10.00 to 12.00.

Burdinsky noted that during the spring deployment period, the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff received several hundred telephone calls. Most of them were caused by concern for the fate of recruits in connection with a special military operation.
