Catanduva, in the interior of São Paulo, hosts, between the 8th and 12th of September, another edition of the FESCC – Catanduva Choir Festival, at the Catanduva Tennis Club. For five days, the city will be a meeting point for singers, conductors, teachers and music professionals, in a program that combines training, exchange of experiences and a final concert.
One of FESCC's differences is precisely the opportunity to bring participants together with professionals from different regions of Brazil and prominent names in choral music. In this edition, the workshops will be led by renowned professionals such as Maestra Maíra Ferreira, composer Juliana Ripke, International Maestro Federico Trindade, Artistic Director of USP Choirs Eduardo Fernandes, Regent Silmara Drezza, Tânia Bertassoli, vocal coach Joana Mariz, among other professionals recognized for their contributions to choral conducting, vocal technique, choral pedagogy and training of Brazilian choirs.
Training and improvement meetings are part of the essence of the festival and allow singers, conductors, music educators and students to have contact with different methodologies, repertoires and professional experiences.

According to the general director of FESCC, Marcela Milani, the 13th edition is surpassing all previous ones due to its ability to bring together competent professionals in all areas.
“The workshops were planned to offer a dynamic and exclusive learning experience, bringing participants closer to high-performance professionals who directly contribute to the development of choral music in Brazil and around the world”, according to Marcela.
Throughout the program, participants will be able to experience a powerful immersion in the world of choral music. More than bringing together voices for presentations, FESCC focuses on training and the exchange of knowledge as central elements of the event.
The workshops enable technical and artistic improvement and, at the same time, create an environment for coexistence between professionals and participants with different trajectories within music.

Unprecedented Festival format in Brazil has closing concert
One of the most anticipated moments of the program is the grand closing concert, which brings together the Children's Choirs, the Youth Choirs and the Adult Laboratory on stage in a unique choral celebration that takes place in Brazil.
The concert represents the culmination of FESCC's days of activities and brings to the stage part of the experience built during the festival. The union of hundreds of singers – including children, teenagers and adults – promises to provide the public with a performance marked by the strength and collective dimension of choral singing.
And the community will also be able to be part of this moment: invitations to the closing concert will be identified, but free of charge, allowing access to this beautiful show with responsibility for collecting tickets.
The collection of invitations will take place on the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of September, at the Catanduva Tennis Club.

The FESCC is carried out by the Ministry of Culture, the Federal Government – Union and Reconstruction, and the Santa Cecília de Catanduva Conservatory. The festival is officially sponsored by the Itaipu Transformers Industry, through the National Culture Support Program – Rouanet Law.
