Jeju Provincial Office of Education held ‘2026 Drug Prevention Sympathy Festival’ on the 18th

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education announced on the 12th that it will hold the '2026 Drug Prevention Sympathy Festival' with students, parents, faculty, staff, and the community.

This drug prevention event, in which local professional organizations such as the Korea Anti-Drug Movement Headquarters Jeju One Step Together Center, Jeju Addiction Management Integrated Support Center, and Jeju Smoking Cessation Support Center participate, will be held at the Jeju Student Cultural Center on the 18th.

In the student participation space, programs such as ▲ Zero Drug Challenge Golden Bell ▲ Drug Prevention Photo Zone: SNS Proof Shot ▲ DRUG Free VR Experience/Curling Experience Zone ▲ Exhibition of excellent works from the Drug and Smoking Prevention Contest ▲ Spirometry and Electronic Cigarette OX Quiz are operated.

At the talk concert, experts and student representatives from various fields, including Yoon Jeong-hwa, head of the drug eradication business division of the Gyeonggi Provincial Drug Association, the head of the Jeju Police Agency's drug investigation team, health teachers, university professors, and recovery specialist counselors, will participate to talk about the importance of drug prevention.

In particular, it talks about how students approach drugs, what students most misunderstand, and what kind of pain a single choice leaves a family, so that students and parents can empathize.

In addition, there will also be time for questions written in advance by students to be drawn on-site and answered directly by experts.
