According to the Ministry of Education's survey of employment statistics for graduates of higher education institutions, Korea University of Technology and Education ranked first among four-year universities in the country with an employment rate of 82.8%, and the maintenance employment rate, which indicates the quality of employment, also maintains the highest level in the country.

For the general student department curriculum, 1,779 people applied for 192 students, recording a competition rate of 9.27 to 1.

By autonomous major, the engineering convergence autonomous major recorded 35.75 to 1, the ICT convergence autonomous major recorded 27.43 to 1, the social convergence autonomous major recorded 18.13 to 1, and the autonomous major (Future Convergence Studies) recorded 9.15 to 1.

The Department of Semiconductor and Display Engineering, a Chungnam-type contract department (early employment type), showed a high competition rate of 5.25 to 1, with 315 applicants for 60 students.
