The investigation resumed the investigation into the murder of five state farm employees in 1984

In the Tambov region, the Investigative Committee of Russia has resumed its investigation into a bloody crime that took place 42 years ago. REN TV reports this on its Telegram channel.

According to the TV channel, we are talking about the massacre of five employees of the Glazkovsky state farm on May 10, 1984. On the fateful day, they left Michurinsk in a GAZ-69 with a huge sum for those times - 50 thousand Soviet rubles. This was the salary of state farm employees.

On the way, unknown people stopped the car and shot all five of them: the party organizer, the cashier, the financier, the accountant and the chief engineer and fled with the money. The Soviet police and prosecutor's office carefully investigated all the details of the crime. More than 1,000 citizens were interrogated, fingerprints were taken from 90 thousand, hundreds of cars were checked, but the crime was never solved or a clue was found.

After 42 years, mysterious notes appeared on the graves of the victims. It also turned out that Semyon Sorokin, who worked as a local police officer in 1984, had passed away. He, along with other residents of the area, was checked and even detained.

Now local residents suspect that Sorokin knew a lot about that crime and before his death, on his instructions or by himself, notes were left on the graves. The contents of the notes are not disclosed, but it is known that the investigation has resumed the investigation and is checking the involvement of specific people in the crime.
