The villagers took advantage of the fine weather to carry out harvesting, threshing, and rice milling operations. Harvesting and processing rice in the fields were connected in an orderly manner. There were busy scenes of grains being returned to warehouses and welcoming a bumper harvest.
Walking into the millet planting area of Miaoergou Village, you can see the golden millet and the plump and low-hanging ears. In the fields, farmers hold sickles to harvest and bundle straw in an orderly manner. After harvesting, the harvested millet is promptly transferred to the drying site. Through processes such as mechanical threshing, dust removal, and air drying, the grains are carefully processed and returned to the warehouse.
"The weather has been good this year, and the millet has grown particularly well. The ears are large and the grains are full. It is a solid harvest year." said Wang Liangang, a farmer in Miaoergou Village, Heshen Shen Township.
