Urban: You can't concede goals like this

We played football at a similar level to the Swedish national team, but you can't concede goals like that. This is very difficult to make up for. The third goal was scored by their most dangerous striker (Viktor Gyokeres - ed.), being alone. This is not appropriate, Urban commented at a press conference.

Urban was also asked whether he still had motivation or was considering resigning. I'm not thinking about any resignation, he said.

We lost the match against a very good team, but we didn't play the match without a shot on target, we weren't forced into defense and helpless. We had our situations, we could have made much more out of them. We had to create a really great action to score a goal, and the opponent scored it too easily - the coach analyzed.

He repeated that the level in group B4 is very even, but that he would indicate Sweden as the favorite before the start of the competition.

You just need to see what potential it has. We all would like much more, me too, but today Sweden is stronger than us, he concluded.

The Poles' failed rematch

The White and Reds failed to achieve a revenge for the meeting at the same stadium on March 31, when Sweden won 3-2 in the play-off final and advanced to the World Championships in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

We didn't come with a better team than we had in March. Some players get their chance, we want to see who performs and who we can count on. Sweden is also changing the system and trying different things. Someone may think that we can let who knows how many players make their debuts, but we have to win - no, that is not always possible. There are some goals in all this. Maybe we will find a number one goalkeeper, maybe we will find three or four players who will show that they will be the future of this national team. To reduce everything to the fact that the result is negative is easy, Urban said.

Poland with one point in the table

Poland has a point and is third in the table. Sweden is in the lead - 6, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is second - 4.

Romania, which will be the White and Reds' rival in Warsaw on Friday, remains with zero achievements.
