'2026 Namdo Content Fair' will be held from October 9 to 11 at Seomjin River Train Village in Gokseong, Gwangju, Jeollanam-do

The '2026 Namdo Content Fair' will be held at Seomjin River Train Village in Gokseong, Gwangju, Jeollanam-do from October 9th to 11th.

Co-hosted by Jeonnam Gwangju Unified Special City and Gokseong-gun and hosted by the Jeonnam Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, it was designed to showcase excellent content created by local youth, companies, and creators and to foster the diverse cultural resources of the South Province into the content industry.

Starting with the opening ceremony, various programs will be held, including a content exhibition and experience zone, a public relations center for local governments, related organizations, and universities, a family-based experience program, special lectures by celebrities, and content business consultations.

The exhibition and experience zone will feature about 60 contents including animation, characters, stories, media art, games, metaverse and virtual convergence.

It also operates content promotion centers for local governments, related organizations, and universities, as well as more than 10 auxiliary programs.

Lectures and side events will also be held where content creators, industry officials, and citizens can communicate.

The content business consultation provides content feedback, business consultation, and networking opportunities from experts to creators and companies in the webtoon, character, and story fields.

Lee Gil-yong, Cultural Policy Director of the Unified City, said on the 27th, "Gwangju, Jeollanam-do has abundant regional resources such as history, culture, art, tourism, and ecology," and added, "We will support local resources to grow into competitive K-culture content by combining them with the content industry."
