The 2026 China Triathlon League and Yangcheng Manghe Triathlon Open were held. Roman Lysenko won the men's championship and Xu Ying won the women's championship.

China News Service, September 7. The 2026 China Triathlon League, Yangcheng Manghe Triathlon Open, and "Her Iron" Pink Triathlon Challenge were held on the 6th at Zhuyu Bay, Taihang, Manghe Scenic Area, Yangcheng, Shanxi.

According to reports, this event attracted more than 600 contestants from 27 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. The 51.5-kilometer track is adjacent to the Manghe National Nature Reserve and enjoys the scenery of "Little Guilin in the North". The event consists of multiple categories such as full distance group (Olympic standard distance), full distance relay group, half distance group, swimming biathlon group and biathlon riding group, building a multi-level competition system with high-level competition and public participation in parallel.

In the morning of that day, after the whistle blew for the entire age group competition, the competition became fierce. With his outstanding performance in the running stage, Roman Lysenko completed the comeback and won the men's overall championship in 2 hours, 06 minutes and 39 seconds. On the women's side, Xu Ying also relied on her long-distance running advantage to win the women's championship in 2 hours, 27 minutes and 10 seconds.

Outside the stadium, "event setting, cultural tourism and opera" were performed simultaneously. Next to the main venue, the music of the concert was melodious; fireworks were rising at the food market, and the aroma of Yangcheng roasted liver, mixed rice, and millet pancakes was fragrant. At the "Yangcheng Scenery" market, there is a dazzling array of intangible cultural heritage and local goodies, attracting many people to stop.
