Knife Attack on Occupational Health Doctor in Tuzla OIZ

The incident took place at around 09:00 on September 7 in the Anatolian Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) in Tuzla. Allegedly, S.A., who had previously worked in the same OIZ, came to the area where occupational health doctor B.A. was located.

After an argument broke out between the two for an unknown reason, suspect S.A. attacked doctor B.A. with the knife he brought with him. B.A., who fell to the ground with the knife blows he received. While he was seriously injured, the suspect fled the scene. Upon notice, many police and medical teams were dispatched to the region.

THE SITUATION IS CRITICAL

After the first intervention of the medical teams at the scene, the seriously injured doctor was taken to the hospital by ambulance and treated in the emergency room. It was learned that the doctor's life was in danger.

The identity of the attacker was identified in a short time by the Public Security Bureau teams, who started working after the incident. The police launched a large-scale search to catch the suspect S.A., who was determined to have a psychological disorder, and determined that the person was in the coastal area. The teams went to the beach and determined that the suspect attempted suicide.

THE SUSPECT WAS ALSO TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL

The suspect, who was neutralized by the intervention of medical teams, was taken to the hospital for treatment. The knife, the criminal tool believed to have been used in the incident, was seized from the suspect.
