CSTO intelligence officers began the Poisk-2026 exercise at the Chebarkulsky training ground

Scouts of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO began to carry out the tasks of the Poisk-2026 exercise at the Chebarkulsky training ground in Russia.

The topic of the exercise is the organization and conduct of reconnaissance during the localization of a border armed conflict.

Participants in the exercise search for and destroy the “enemy” using reconnaissance and attack FPV drones, and adjust artillery and aviation fire.

MOSCOW, September 28 - RIA Novosti. Scouts of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO began to carry out the tasks of the joint exercise "Search-2026", which is taking place in Russia, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

“In the Russian Federation, at the Chebarkulsky training ground, as part of a special exercise with CSTO reconnaissance forces and means “Poisk-2026”, reconnaissance groups began practicing practical actions in designated areas,” the statement said.

The RF Ministry of Defense named the theme of the exercise “Search-2026” - organizing and conducting reconnaissance by forces during the localization of a border armed conflict. The main goal is to conduct various types of reconnaissance in the interests of using the CSTO CRRF, improving the practical skills of management bodies and personnel of intelligence units.

Participants in the exercise search for and destroy the “enemy” using reconnaissance and strike FPV drones, and also adjust artillery and aviation fire to destroy identified objects.

The reconnaissance work during the exercise makes it possible to implement the “detected - struck” principle, the department noted. During the exercise, the experience of conducting combat operations in modern armed conflicts is taken into account.
