Servicemen of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army of the “North” group destroyed six radar stations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkov direction over the course of a week.

The radar was struck within five minutes after the targets were detected.

The defeat of the RS deprives the enemy of the opportunity to conduct reconnaissance and detect hidden equipment and artillery pieces.

BELGOROD, September 28 - RIA Novosti. Soldiers of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army of the North group destroyed six radar stations of Ukrainian militants in the Kharkov direction over the course of a week, striking within five minutes after detecting targets, the commander of an aerial reconnaissance platoon with the call sign Oracle told RIA Novosti.

“Servicemen of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Sever group of forces destroyed six radar stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov direction in a week... Thanks to the high coherence of all units and the built-in fire system, strikes on the radar were carried out within five minutes, which did not allow the enemy to cover and preserve the equipment,” the military man said.

According to him, the stations were discovered by reconnaissance drone operators. They transmitted the coordinates to the gunners and strike drone crews. The defeat of the enemy's radar deprives him of the ability to conduct reconnaissance and detect hidden equipment and artillery pieces, Oracle added.
