WHEN DOES YKS ADDITIONAL PREFERENCE UNIVERSITY REGISTRATIONS START?

After the announcement of the 2026 YKS additional placement results, university registration dates have been announced.

According to the statement made by ÖSYM, candidates who are placed in a higher education program will be able to complete their registration between 2-9 October 2026 (on official business days and working hours).

Electronic registrations can be made between 2-4 October 2026.

For registration, candidates must apply within the deadline to the university affiliated with the higher education program they are placed in.

Candidates who register electronically will process according to the date and relevant documents announced by their universities.

HOW TO DO YKS ADDITIONAL PREFERENCE E-REGISTRATION?

Candidates who want to register electronically should send a T.R. address to turkiye.gov.tr. They must log in with their ID numbers and e-Government passwords.

Then, select the "University E-Registration" service offered by the Council of Higher Education and follow the instructions on the screen.

Candidates who complete the registration process must receive the barcoded electronic registration document.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR YKS ADDITIONAL PLACEMENT RECORDS?

The documents required to be prepared by candidates who are entitled to enroll in a university according to the 2026 YKS additional placement results may vary depending on the higher education institution and program they are placed in. T.R. ID card or identity card

Original high school diploma, certified copy or provisional graduation certificate
