Güzelbahçe Municipality Distributed Bags and Stationery to 1100 Primary Schools

Güzelbahçe Municipality delivered school bags and stationery materials to 1100 students studying in public schools in the 2026-2027 academic year in order to support equal opportunities in education in line with the understanding of social municipalism. Güzelbahçe Deputy Mayor Ayşe Akın, municipal council members and municipal employees attended the bag and stationery distribution to primary school students studying in public schools in the district. In the project that aims to contribute to the educational life of the students, bags and stationery materials were personally presented to the little ones by Deputy President Ayşe Akın. Mayor Akın paid close attention to the children and chatted with them, shared their excitement and wished them success in the new education period.

EQUALITY IN EDUCATION AND SOCIAL MUNICIPALITY UNDERSTANDING

The bags and stationery sets prepared by Güzelbahçe Municipality included basic materials required for education such as notebooks, pencils, erasers, dry, water and pastel paint sets. In this way, it was aimed to ensure that students start their classes properly and to alleviate the stationery expenses of families.

Mayor Akın stated that they want to support families due to the difficult economic conditions of the country and said, "As Güzelbahçe Municipality, we are trying to support all areas of education for our children within the scope of social municipality. Economic conditions are very difficult. We are doing everything we can to ensure that our children, who are our future, receive education in better conditions. Because our children are the future of this country. We delivered bags and stationery sets to primary school students who are studying in public schools or who have just started school. With this support covering 1100 of our students, we support our children in their educational journey and provide social support to our families. It has become very difficult to educate children today. Considering that there is more than one student in a family, bag and stationery expenses create a serious economic burden. "With this support, we continue to ease the burden on our families and contribute to our children's education in safer and more equal conditions," he said.
