Namyangju City announces construction of a complex community center in Hopyeong-dong, scheduled to open in 2030

Namyangju City announced on the 26th that it will build the Hopyeong Complex Community Center with the goal of opening in 2030.

The center will be built on an area of ​​3,546㎡ in Hopyeong-dong, with 2 underground floors and 3 above-ground floors, with a total area of ​​6,600㎡.

The project cost was estimated at 44.6 billion won.

Inside, it will be equipped with offices, lecture rooms, training rooms, and a performance hall.

Focusing on resident autonomy, we focused on creating various lifestyle-friendly facilities in one space to increase convenience of use and support the revitalization of the local community.

To this end, Namyangju City will complete the establishment of a basic plan and feasibility review by the end of the year and sequentially proceed with related administrative procedures, such as local financial investment review, starting next year.

In addition, construction will begin as early as 2028 after public architectural review, design competition, and design.

Namyangju City plans to continue listening to the opinions of residents and experts during the project implementation process to create a complex community space that suits the conditions and actual usage needs of the Hopyeong-dong area.
