The third phase of the development of Longtan Science Park in Taoyuan City is gradually advancing. DPP Taoyuan mayor candidate Huang Shijie is looking forward to TSMC's return to Taoyuan after more than three years of delays! He said that as mayor in the future, he will actively coordinate with the central government, the National Science Council and the industry to arrange land, water, electricity, transportation, talent and other conditions in advance, so that Taoyuan will not passively wait for companies to choose, but actively create conditions for companies to invest. In addition to improving the transportation and life functions around Longke Phase 3, it will also coordinate with the planning and setup of the new industrial park to upgrade industries, develop Taoyuan more soundly, and give young people the opportunity to return to their hometown to work hard.

Huang Shijie said today regarding the issue of Longke Phase 3 that Taoyuan’s future vision will be based on industry. As Longke Phase 3 is about to usher in the National Protectorate Mountain, he proposed to combine new road network policies such as New Meilong and Banlong Express, National First-A Line, Wuyang Extension Toufen, with the expansion of local main roads, and the planning and setting up of local industrial parks, so that relevant industries can enter and the industrial chain will be more complete.

Huang Shijie mentioned that at the same time, the people and engineering issues of the aviation city will also be actively engaged. The mayor and the special political commissar of the Executive Yuan will jointly hold an aviation city project meeting, and jointly promote investment with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, so that the industrial benefits of the aviation city can emerge as soon as possible. In addition, it will be connected with the Taozhu Miao Greater Silicon Valley Project, starting from Taoyuan, to complete the western Taiwan science and technology corridor, which will not only create more output value, but also create more employment opportunities.

Huang Shijie emphasized that industrial development affects not only the factory area, but the entire living circle of Longtan and Pingzhen. Industry, life, and local needs must be integrated to promote mutually beneficial development among all parties.
