In order to improve the holiday congestion problem at Daxi Old Street and Provincial Highway 3 and Provincial Highway 4, the Taoyuan City Government has started planning to use Puding Camp Area to set up a transfer station in 2015, hoping to intercept external traffic outside the old city and integrate buses and national highway passenger transport. And sightseeing connections, the transfer station is expected to open to traffic in March next year; when questioned, city councilor Chen Zhiwen believed that in the future, the transfer station plans to introduce 22 bus routes. The current planners’ routes entering the first section of Yuanlin Road and the exit of the first section of Renhe Road will definitely cause traffic chaos.

In this regard, Transportation Director Zhang Xinfu explained that the route planning has been subject to on-site survey and testing, and there will be no problem of unable to meet vehicles. In addition, Lane 142 of Yuanlin Road Section 1 will be set up with Yuanlin Road Section 1 to set up a common signal, so that buses entering the transfer station will not affect the entry and exit of vehicles at Lane 142 of Yuanlin Road Section 1.

Chen Zhiwen said that the Puding Transfer Station has a budget of about 359 million yuan, and is equipped with an 8-seat bus platform, 202 car seats, and 210 motorcycle parking spaces. It is planned to introduce 2 national highway passenger transport, 14 urban passenger transport, 4 free buses, and 2 Taiwan Haoxing. The current inbound and outbound lines are planned to be bus roads. The line enters from Section 1 of Yuanlin Road, exits from Section 1 of Renhe Road, and passes through the Daxi Interchange on Puding Road. Since the entrance of Section 1 of Yuanlin Road is adjacent to Lane 142 of Section 1 of Yuanlin Road, it is only a 6-meter-wide road. When the transfer station is opened, there will definitely be a traffic jam at Lane 142 of Section 1 of Yuanlin Road, leading to traffic chaos.

Chen Zhiwen also mentioned that the Puding transfer station is part of the Puding redistricting project. The total area of ​​the rezoning area is about 13.64 hectares. In the future, 400 social houses, the Daxi branch of the municipal hospital, public care, long-term care, parks and other facilities will be built. The area has been expanded from a simple transfer station that intercepts the traffic flow of the old street to a new life and public service core in the Daxi Hexi area.
