During the Mid-Autumn Festival and Teacher’s Day holidays, various tourist attractions in Matsu continue to see crowds of tourists! After attracting an influx of nearly 2,000 people on the first day of the consecutive holidays, 1,089 tourists arrived in Malaysia on the 26th, and more than 3,000 people entered the country in the first two days. As the popularity of tourism continues to heat up, inter-island shipping is booming, and crowds of people can be seen at the island piers and popular attractions such as Beihai Tunnel and Matsu Winery.

The Lianjiang County Government pointed out that Matsu's four-day holiday booking rate was the highest in Taiwan. Local hoteliers pointed out that during the holiday period, four-person rooms and other family rooms were almost fully booked, and new guests continued to check in on the second day. Compared with individual travelers and family guests who only stay for 1 to 2 days on weekdays or general holidays, this time more people choose to stay for 3 to 4 days for an in-depth experience, and group travel is more evenly distributed on weekdays.
