33rd International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival Opened, Orhan Kemal Labor Awards Distributed

The opening and "Orhan Kemal Labor Awards" night within the scope of the 33rd International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival was held at the Central Park Amphitheatre.

At the ceremony hosted by Ali İhsan Varol, the films participating in the festival were introduced.

Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Güngör Geçer, said at the ceremony that they were happy to open the festival.

Stating that the cinema includes years of effort, Geçer said, "I wholeheartedly congratulate all our award-winning artists. I express my gratitude and appreciation to them for the efforts they have given to our cinema. We are waiting for you in our halls for the remaining days of our festival." he said.

Festival Executive Board Chairman Menderes Samancılar also stated that they work as much as they can every year to move the festival forward.

Thanking those who contributed to the organization, Samancılar said, "The movie is lived in darkness, life is lived in light. We are heading towards the light. There is the pain of Palestine and Gaza right next to us. Children are dying. People are on the roads, hungry and thirsty. As the Altın Koza team, we condemn and condemn the oppressors, especially Israel." he said.

After the speech, "Orhan Kemal Emek Awards" were given to director and producer Aydın Sayman, actor and screenwriter Macit Koper and actress Suna Selen.

After the award ceremony, Nükhet Duru gave a concert.

The festival's jury members, guests and citizens attended the ceremony.
