To do this, the accomplices recruited a woman who met men on the Internet and persuaded them to buy drugs in exchange for a personal meeting - so that the police could then detain them. This is how she managed to convince one man who initially did not plan to buy illegal substances. As a result, he was detained on January 12, 2020.

At the time of his arrest, the victim threw away a package of mephedrone, but the security forces seized it and used handcuffs and violence on the man: one of the police officers hit the Russian in the face and chest. At the police department, the man was put under psychological pressure and demanded 150 thousand rubles for failure to register the find and release. After repeated use of force, the amount was reduced to 100 thousand rubles. Through intermediaries, the convict received 99 thousand rubles in cash, which the accomplices disposed of jointly.
