Gyeongnam Province exempts tolls on three private roads for four days during the Chuseok holiday

Gyeongnam Province announced on the 18th that it will exempt tolls on three private roads managed by the province for four days during the Chuseok holiday starting on the 24th.

Drivers can use Geoga Bridge, Machang Bridge, and the road between Changwon and Busan (Bulmosan Tunnel) for free from midnight on the 24th to midnight on the 27th.

Instead, the province supports the three private road operators with an amount equivalent to toll revenue.

The province expects that 660,000 vehicles using the three major private roads will receive toll exemption benefits during this Chuseok holiday.

The tolls for the three private roads are 10,000 won for Geoga Bridge, 2,500 won for Machang Bridge, and 1,100 won for the road between Changwon and Busan, based on passenger vehicles.

During the same period, the Palryong Tunnel and Jigae-Namsan Road tolls managed by Changwon City will also be exempted.
