President Lee Jae-myung presents 'Roh Moo-hyun biography' to all Democratic Party members... integrated move

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Go Dong-wook and Oh Gyu-jin = It was confirmed on the 22nd that President Lee Jae-myung gifted 'Roh Moo-hyun Biography' to all Democratic Party members ahead of Chuseok.

It is known that Blue House employees visited the National Assembly and delivered books directly to each member's office, and did not deliver a separate message.

This book was compiled by Yoon Tae-young, former director of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation for the People's World, who served as Blue House spokesperson for two terms during the participatory government, and contains the late former President Roh Moo-hyun's oral statements while he was alive, as well as notes and transcripts of his staff.

President Lee's gift of this book to Democratic Party members is interpreted as an attempt to overcome the divisions within the ruling party that have recently emerged and promote unity.

At a press conference on the 18th, President Lee said, "We who dream of the ideals of democracy, progress, and reform and act for a better world are all pro-Moon, pro-Roh, pro-Kim Dae-jung, and comrades of Lee Jae-myung."

He then spoke on the phone with former President Moon Jae-in and former Democratic Party leader Chung Cheong-rae ahead of his trip to attend the United Nations General Assembly on the 21st.
