Moscow demanded to initiate a criminal case against Mikhail Kasyanov

In Moscow they are demanding that a criminal case be opened against Mikhail Kasyanov (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). The capital's prosecutor's office reported this to Lenta.ru.

He is suspected under Article 330.1 (“Evasion of duties provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the department, the Vnukovo Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office during the inspection established that Kasyanov had previously been subject to administrative punishment for violating the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent.

While outside Russia, he continued to disseminate messages and materials without the required markings indicating their distribution by an individual acting as a foreign agent.

The materials of the prosecutor's inspection were sent to the investigative body to resolve the issue of criminal prosecution.
